Down Technology: Fill Power (FP) is a measure of the expansion ability, or lofting, of down insulation. The higher the FP, the more air is trapped by the down, and the warmer the product is for its weight. Environmentally friendly and hydrocarbon-free, Nikwax Hydrophobic Down absorbs less water and dries faster than untreated down. This helps the insulation to retain its loft and warmth in damp conditions. Our down is certified by the Responsible Down Standard (R.D.S.), so you can rest assured that the down in your product comes from ducks and geese that have been well treated, and that it has followed an audited chain of custody from farm to store.
